Privacy Policy
This page explains what Iraqi Marketing collects, why, and what you can ask us to do about it. It describes what the site actually does — not a template.

What we collect
Visitors do not need an account, and we do not ask for your name, email or phone number to browse the directory. When you use the site we record: the pages you view, the language you chose, the site you arrived from, and — when you click a provider's WhatsApp, phone, email or website button — which provider and which button. We do this to know which listings are useful and which contact methods people prefer. If you submit the "join the directory" form, we receive whatever you type into it so we can review your listing.
Analytics
We use two analytics systems. Our own: page views and contact clicks are sent to our own servers and stored in our database. This does not use cookies and does not identify you. Google Analytics (Firebase): we also send the same events to Google Analytics, which does set cookies and assigns your browser a random identifier so Google can tell repeat visits apart. Some of these events are sent from our servers rather than your browser, so that clicks still count when a browser extension blocks Google's script. Google processes this data on our behalf; see Google's own privacy policy for what they do with it.
Cookies
We set a cookie to remember your chosen language, so the site does not switch back to English on your next visit. Google Analytics sets its own cookies (names beginning with _ga) containing a random identifier. They are not used to advertise to you, and we do not run advertising on this site. You can block or delete these cookies in your browser at any time. The directory works normally without them.
How providers get listed
Most listings were not submitted by the businesses or people they describe. We compiled them from publicly available professional sources — company websites, public portfolio profiles, public business directories and industry archives — and each listing records where we found it. We publish only information those sources made public: a name, a city, a description of the work, a public portfolio or website link, and any contact details the person or business had already published themselves. We do not publish anything obtained privately, and we do not guess or construct contact details. If you are listed and did not ask to be, that is expected — and the next section is for you.
Correcting or removing your listing
If you appear in this directory you can ask us to correct your entry or remove it entirely. You do not have to give a reason, and we will not ask you to justify the request. Email us from an address connected to the listing, or contact us through the profile in question. We will remove a listing within 7 days of a verified request, and correct one as soon as we can confirm the change. Removal means the listing stops being published and stops appearing in search results on this site. Search engines may take longer to drop pages they have already indexed, which is outside our control.
Who else sees this data
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers. The processors we use are: Google Analytics (usage analytics), Amazon Web Services (hosting and database), and our own infrastructure. When you click through to a provider's WhatsApp, phone or website, you leave this site and that provider's own practices apply.
How long we keep it
Analytics events in our own database are kept while they remain useful for understanding how the directory is used. Google Analytics is configured to retain event and user data for 14 months, after which Google deletes it automatically. Listing information is kept while the listing is published, and removed when a listing is removed.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it. You can opt out of Google Analytics by blocking cookies in your browser or by using Google's opt-out browser add-on. We will answer any request in this section within 30 days, and sooner where we can.
